After the Crash connects consumers who are actively looking for a lawyer with firms that handle their type of case. We are not a law firm and we do not practise law. We run legal-information websites and intake, then pass qualified enquiries to a small number of participating firms.

What kinds of enquiries do you send?

We generate car accident enquiries, each tied to a specific metro market. Every enquiry is a consumer actively looking for a car accident lawyer:

  • Car Accidents — people in your metro who submitted a request or called about a car accident matter

How does the process work?

A consumer finds one of our city pages, reads about their situation, and submits a case-review request or calls in. We capture the details, confirm the basics, and route the enquiry to a participating firm in that market.

How many firms do you work with per market?

We deliberately keep the number small. Enquiries lose value when the same person is contacted by five firms, so we limit how many firms receive enquiries in a given practice area and metro.

What does it cost?

Firms pay per qualified enquiry, not a monthly retainer. Pricing depends on practice area and market. We'll walk you through the numbers for your specific market before you commit.

Are enquiries exclusive?

Yes. Each enquiry goes to one firm only. We do not sell the same enquiry to two firms, and we do not resell it later. The consumer is told, before they submit, that their request goes to a single law firm in their area — so nobody you call has already been contacted by three of your competitors.

How is the firm selected?

Mechanically, and we publish the method: only the consumer's state and the practice area they choose. We do not read a case and decide who is 'best', we do not rank or score firms, and we never tell a consumer that any firm is recommended. See Participating Law Firms.

What consent do the enquiries carry?

Every enquiry is submitted by the consumer through a form on this site with an unchecked, express-written-consent checkbox naming both us and the participating law firm, and covering autodialed, prerecorded, AI-voice and SMS contact. We retain, for five years: the timestamp, IP address, page URL, and the exact consent text as it was displayed. We provide that record with any enquiry on request.

What is the credit policy?

We credit an enquiry, within 5 business days of delivery, if:

  • the phone number is disconnected, invalid, or not a working number
  • the contact details are demonstrably false (wrong name and wrong number)
  • the person is outside the state or practice area you contracted for
  • the person is already represented by another lawyer for the same matter
  • the enquiry is a duplicate of one already delivered to you
  • the person is a minor, or the submission is spam or a test

Not credited: the person did not answer or did not call back, the case was declined on merit or value, or the person chose a different firm. Inability to reach someone is a normal cost of intake, not a defective enquiry — every serious vendor draws the line in the same place.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on practice area and market, and is a flat advertising fee. We never charge per signed case or a percentage of any fee — that would be fee sharing, which the rules of professional conduct prohibit. We'll walk you through the numbers for your market before you commit.

How do we get started?

Email intake@afterthecrashlegal.com with your firm name, bar number, practice area, and the metro you want to cover. We'll confirm current availability in that market and send a sample of the enquiry detail and consent record you would receive.
